What can I say aside from, it was better than we could have hoped. Not only did strength legend and World Natural Strongman Federation founder Laszlo Fekete come in all the way from Hungary, but his first words, in broken English were..."been in gym, all over world...this...MANS GYM...smell like Iron!" It was immensely flattering to have such approval from a world record holder and legend in the sport.
We sold out in 30 minutes and the gym was literally packed from wall to wall with spectators, film crew and media people. The athletes though, truly gave us the best compliment with comments about how it was one of the best run shows they had ever been to and how they will make a point to come to every show we host. Making all the the athletes happy is truly what we wanted.
The next step now is recruiting Canadian and South American affiliates into World Natural Strongman. I have sent out emails and communication to my international contacts and we are already getting replies and requests to be a part of this. Bryce and I could not be more happy. The athletes loved it, the public loved it and Laszlo loved it...what else could we ask for?
